In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top communication apps in El Salvador showcased diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Snapchat from Snap Inc saw a notable rise in weekly revenue, peaking at about $404 in late September. Download numbers fluctuated, with a high of approximately 28.4K in the final week of September. Active users initially dipped but eventually rebounded, closing the quarter at around 1.43M.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady weekly revenue, hovering around $15 to $16. Downloads experienced a gradual decline, finishing the quarter at about 19.6K. However, active users remained robust, averaging around 2.7M throughout the quarter.

Messenger, despite not generating any reported revenue, showed a decline in downloads, culminating at approximately 16.9K. Active users also saw a slight decrease, ending the quarter with roughly 614K.
